- Bookings under $100: 15% deposit at time of online booking on ecotripasia.com.
- Bookings of $100 and above: 10% deposit at time of online booking.
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance (85% or 90%) is settled directly with your guide or tour dispatcher on the day of your tour prior to departure. Payment can be made in cash (USD, EUR, AUD, VND) or via standard credit card.
Child Pricing: Children aged 5 to 8 years pay 75% of the adult rate. Children under 5 years join completely free of charge (seated safely on an adult's lap).
Holiday Surcharge: A modest surcharge may apply during major national holidays (such as Vietnamese Lunar New Year / Tet). Any seasonal adjustment is always clearly quoted and agreed upon before confirmation.
2. Free Date Change Policy
We understand that international flights, visa delays, or unexpected travel adjustments happen. You can request a date change completely free of charge, provided we have jeep and driver availability on your requested new date.
Simply message our 24/7 WhatsApp dispatch team at +84 879 617 691 or email info@ecotripasia.com as early as possible. Your confirmed deposit will be transferred 1:1 to the new tour departure time.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
👤 Guest Cancellation or No-Show
Because vintage military jeeps, veteran mechanics, fuel, and specialized guides are reserved exclusively for your scheduled slot, deposits are non-refundable if you choose to cancel or fail to arrive. However, we always welcome rescheduling your date free of charge.
🛡️ Operator Cancellation (Weather / Force Majeure)
If Eco Trip Asia must cancel a tour due to severe typhoon warnings, extreme meteorological events, or government road closures, guests are immediately offered:
(A) A 100% full refund of your deposit, or
(B) A free reschedule to another date or alternative itinerary.
4. Rain & Weather Policy on Open-Air Jeeps
Hanoi's tropical climate features occasional sudden downpours, especially in summer. Our jeep tours operate rain or shine, and cruising through Hanoi's glistening streets in a military jeep during a light shower is often remembered as an absolute highlight of the journey!
All-Weather Protection:
- Retractable Heavy-Duty Military Canvas Roofs: In case of heavy rain, our drivers deploy and fasten the waterproof canvas canopy.
- Complimentary Rain Ponchos: High-grade, breathable clean ponchos are stored in every jeep for passenger comfort.
- Safe Navigation: All UAZ-469 jeeps feature four-wheel drive (4x4) high clearance, effortlessly navigating wet roads and narrow urban corridors where regular buses cannot venture.
